All adventures in Diablo IV are invited to try and descend into what may well be the most brutish challenge from none other than Zir himself. Considering what this endgame pinnacle dungeon challenge offers, it's only for those who have finished the Season’s Journey. You'll have to slay all the horrors within and then defeat Zir's loyal Bloodseekers. However, to succeed you'll have to do it in within 10 minutes.
To prepare the Abattoir of Zir, you'll need to ready your blades and review your most trusted incantations. You'll also need to muster all your strength. That's because for World Tier IV, this challenge is sure to test even the most formidable wanderers of Sanctuary.
As mentioned, you'll need to have finished all Chapters of the Season Journey. Once that's done you get to unlock a recipe that lets you craft a Bloodforged Sigil. Craft this at the Occultist to spawn the Visceral Channel in Ked Bardu which should give you access to the Abattoir.
There's no question that the Abattoir is going to be the hardest challenge in Season of Blood. This is because viscera rains from above as you fight as fast as possible to stop Zir’s legions in this pinnacle dungeon. Again, you only have 10 minutes to clear enough enemies, summon the final Bloodseekers, and defeat them to emerge bloodstained and triumphant.
On completing each tier of the Abattoir of Zir, you get to obtain a recipe to craft the next tier’s Bloodforged Sigil. Finishing the first tier of Abattoir of Zir unlocks the Unique Glyph: Tears of Blood.
Tears of Blood Glyph
The Tears of Blood Glyph is pretty much what you'll need to conquer the different profligates dwelling in the Abattoir. Unlike your usual Paragon Glyph, the Tears of Blood Glyph needs significantly more experience to upgrade. BY the way, delving deeper into the Abattoir gives you the chance to earn tremendous sums of Paragon Glyph experience.
Descend to Madness
The first level in Abbatoir of Zir has the same difficulty to a level 100 Nightmare Dungeon. From there, you'll need endurance and cunning for the vampire entrails to mark the evidence of your progress. While each new tier strengthens the Monsters that await, they only increase each time you descend further into the Abattoir. The Bloodforged Sigil and Abattoir of Zir both go to Level 25, each becoming more difficult than the last.
