Dragon Quest Builders is Finally Available for PC via Steam

Square Enix announced that Dragon Quest Builders is now available for the PC through Steam. The PC version comes with the upgraded crafting features along with the "terra Incognita" DLC.

Dragon Quest Builders offer players an immersive sandbox gaming experience. They get to take on the role of "Builders" who have been tasked with rebuilding the ruined realm that is Alefgard. The game is set in the Dragon Quest story and world and features a rather intuitive control system where payers get to build towers and castles to protect the world from the treacherous Dragonlord. While that alone is enough to deliver the fun, the addition of RPG elements is sure to make this family-friendly experience even more exciting.

Steam Version

As mentioned, the Steam version of game includes upgraded crafting features and “Terra Incognita.” The latter is the content which was originally added in 2022 to the mobile version. It's where Builders not only can freely craft and play but also experience almost double the height of blocks that can be stacked on their creations. Additional content in “Terra Incognita” include the Boss Monster Model Set where Builders can have several giant posable monster figures added to their worlds. Then there is the Astronomy Set which can light up the night sky with ten stars and planets and bring the beauty of the galaxy right to their backyard.

Another item included is the Pixel Ring. It's not just an accessory since when wearing it, Builders are able to get higher number of “pixels” when defeating an enemy. These can then be used to create special items on the "Dragon Quest Game Pack" workstation. Finally there's the Magic Carpet which allow Builders to observe, explore, and build structures from the sky. It even has special music that they can listen to while travelling.
