Everyone is invited to intense action as Dying Light: The Beast Restored Land introduces Roadkill Rallies. These are five new racing challenges which offer time-based missions that's sure to test the skills of players not only in eliminating the infected but also perfecting driving routes.
To obtain the goal in each race, players need to kill a specific number of infected and reach the finish line within the time limit. Each track has its own theme like where some feature threats like Suiciders. However, in all of these races, players need to find the optimal route when it comes to winning the gold. The challenges introduce a new car model known as the Roadkiller. It's a tougher vehicle that players can unlock by earning gold in every race in this series.
Leaderboards
Players should be happy to know that Leaderboards are now available in the game. There are two types with the first one being "Friends Leaderboards." This one has players track their performance in both Restored Land mode and Roadkill Rallies. They can then compare their results with friends.
Second is Global Leaderboards and offered only for the console versions. This is available for both Restored Land mode and Roadkill Rallies. In a post, the development team revealed that the reason they only implemented it on consoles is to ensure there is fair competition. This is because the current client-only PC implementation doesn't allow global rankings to be fully protected from potential exploits.
