KEMCO announced that Alter Age is available for the PC via Steam. It's priced at $19.99 but being offered right now at a 10% discount. The game is also available through the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.
Story
The game focuses on Arga. This young man has a father who is said to be the strongest in the world. However, he hates his father for neglecting his family. This is why Arga has been training every day to show that he is superior. During his training, he manages to awaken the class known as Soul Alter. It's a unique skill which allows him and his companions to change forms.
The Character Changes
The characters in Alter Age. not only change in form but also their ages and even personalities. The protagonist Arga for example is a passionate but contrary man who can't be honest as a grownup. However, in preteen form he becomes a genuine and cute boy.
Then there's the Flame Reaper Lillieka. She may have a childish appearance but she has in fact gone through four reincarnations. She's a cheeky and foul-mouthed girl that has a lot of life experiences. She's usually mocking Arga but when she transforms into a grownup she becomes one who is gentle and has elegant beauty.
Finally, there's the Water Mage Elsie. She's a shy and reserved girl who often lacks self-confidence. Once she transforms into a grownup through Alter, she becomes active and bold. IT's a stark contrast to her preteen form.
Other Features
One of the interesting features of the game is the battle system. During battles, the characters can alter between their grownup and preteen forms. In their grownup form they can release powerful skills though it consumes a lot of resources. During the preteen form, they're excellent when it comes to support and resource-efficient.
The battle array also changes with the Alter. This means o timing the changes is important. Make use of a wide range of elements, including equipment and passive skills, to strategically navigate battles.
Players can also look forward to an expanding world. They can explore a vast field dotted with puzzle dungeons and detour dungeons. They can collect ingredients while walking around to cook meals. Players can also take on special quests limited to the preteen form. These should allow them to fully enjoy every corner of the world of the game..
