Phoenix Labs announced that Fae Farm is now available for the PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. It's also available for the Nintendo Switch. This is the second title to be released by the studio after Dauntless.
Fae Farm invites players to a land where they get to build the fairy-tale life that they've always dreamed about. They get to grow crops and raise animals which let them collet wool and eggs, to name a few. There are also magical critters waiting to be caught and drop rare potion ingredients. Just remember that not all creatures are friendly so keep an eye out for those.
Players can also craft different unique items that can then be used to customize the appearance of the character and even their homes. Keep in mind that the cozier the home, the better the experience.
The game is set in the land of Azoria where cozy vibes appear to radiate from every corner. There are different unique environments to explore like caves where resources can be gathered. Players have the choice to progress at their own pace as they discover new mysteries and ultimately brings peace back to the land.
Players can choose to enjoy Fae Farm solo or with up to four friends in online multiplayer. It also allows for full cross-play functionality, which means players can share their adventures with other players no matter what platform they're using. In addition, those on the Nintendo Switch can opt to play locally through the ad-hoc wireless feature.
Phoenix Labs Fae Farm Game Director Isaac Epp revealed that the team developed a farm sim that they want to play. He went on to say that he's happy to have been able to release the game this year and have them discover what the gameplay has to offer.
For the PC version, players choose to have the Standard Edition of Deluxe Edition. The latter includes the base game plus the first two post-launch content packs once they’re released. Included in the Deluxe Edition is the original soundtrack. Those who buy the game through the Nintendo Switch get the extra content free.
