The game is set is a world where souls of the dead roam and players take on the role of Banishers. Banishers are spirit hunters tasked with lifting a malevolent and ominous curse. Red meanwhile is left in solitude and despair.
The two are now torn between their vows of protecting the living from the malicious spirits and the nightmare that is Antea's present condition. They now wander across the eerie wilderness that is North America in the hopes of freeing Antea from her predicament, no matter the cost.
In a world that's plagued with supernatural creatures and ancient secrets, players get to use the spiritual powers of Antea and combine it with the weapons of Red. All to defeat and banish the souls which are tormenting the living. Get ready to navigate mysterious landscapes, meet memorable characters, and uncover secrets.
