A deadly virus has devastated the world and it's now up to you to exterminate hordes of zombies and save humanity. See if you have what it takes to survive and win in FatalZone. This auto shooter game features roguelike and RPG elements and is now on Steam Early Access.

To fight and survive, you'll have to develop your survivor camp in order to unlock buffs. Different buildings have different features. The Mercenary Base for example allows you to recruit new mercs while the Training Hall lets you upgrade their skills. The Workshop on the other hand allows you to upgrade weapons and armor. Remember that when you upgrade the buildings, you increase the chances of your survival.

Fight the Horde

However, you'll need to go out to get what you need. Be ready to risk everything on deadly runs to come up with the most effective build along with unlocking new skills and getting new characters. Always make it a point to level up the mercs while on the battlefield and then giving them skill combos while they're in the camp. The more runs you do, the more seasoned the veterans become.

During each run, the mercs are going to be exposed to a virus which takes a toll on their bodies. It’s not all that bad because while a bigger viral load can undermine the physical state of a merc, it can also increase the chances of a mutation which can be detrimental or beneficial. It’s up to you to experiment and create the most viable fighter.

Of course, when things go south, you have the choice to evacuate. That means ending the mission early and running for your life to fight another day.
