A winter storm has arrived in Len's Island with the launch of its latest expansion Frozen Lands. This is the second to the last expansion that's planned to be released before the game leaves early access.
It's safe to say that Len's Island already offers players access to a sizeable open world. Frozen Lands beings adds more to the experience with new biomes for everyone to explore. There's the cherry blossom islands, the arctic fortresses, and even the frozen caves which link to a large underground network. As they explore these areas, players get to discover an arctic town that has unique resources along with armor sets ready to trade.
Enjoy Above-Ground Combat
The new expansion also introduces players to exciting above-ground combat. There are enemy strongholds that loom over the arctic islands and guard four new dungeon entrances. As they fight their way across this fortified terrain, there are trap, armored enemies, and intense boss fights that wait in the dungeons below. To fight against new enemies, players can make use of the new katana sword. They can even upgrade weapons and tools all the way to the Damascus steel tier.
A New System
Players can also get special abilities with the new and improved enchanting system. The updated system allows for different new enchantments to be fused to weapons, tools, and now, armor. It's also possible to enchant items twice and get the perfect custom build while also becoming stronger than ever before.
New Resources
The new expansion also features new farmable resources along with advanced machinery. Players for example can explore the new biomes and forage for bamboo and cotton. They can even use seeds to grow their own. Anyway, once they've been harvested, they can then use the new loom machine to refine these unique resources. With this players can create new items that can help them survive the harsh environment.
Another unique resource to keep an eye out for are the ink from squids. That's because this is one of the ingredients needed to update to Damascus tier.
What are you waiting for? Head on over to the Frozen Lands now.
