The upcoming title Wild Planet is officially releasing in Early Access this October 23. The game invites players to a minimalist and serene world that's full of vibrant colors and hidden wonders.

In a statement, developer MonkeyFactory Media Lukyantsev shared that during the early access period, they'll be getting feedback from players to refine the game further. The studio went on to say that a full release is expected sometime in the third quarter of 2025 though it can be delayed to the later part of 2025 and possibly in early 2026. The final decision is going to depend on the input of the community along with the evolving scope of the game. While the game is in early access, there's going to be new biomes, new enemies, and new bosses, to name a few. There's also plans to expand crafting options.

Adventure Meets Relaxation

Wild Planet invites everyone to an open-world survival adventure that’s set on a vivid alien landscape. It features low-poly art and combines it with dynamic gameplay. With this, players get to explore the lush biomes, craft tolls, and build bases. All while defending and trying to survive against alien creatures.

While Wild Planet is indeed a survival game, what sets it apart from other games in the same genre is its mix of discovery and relaxation. Indeed, the tranquil ambiance that the game offers, along with the minimalist design, is sure to offer that refreshing experience. Of course, it isn’t just about surviving considering the focus on creativity. It also means that players get to craft their very own adventure in an alien world.

Talking about their latest title, the studio revealed that the team who worked on the game was considerably small and at times even worked without salary. This means that early access is an important step particularly for the team. The studio went on to say that they’re hoping to engage with the community directly to make sure that the game is the best it can be.

If you're one of those excited, a free demo of the game is set to be available beginning October 14. Wishlist Wild Planet on Steam now.
