Go Inside Minds and Fight in Wantless: Solace at World’s End

If you're a tactical RPG player who's also a sci-fi fan, then Wantless: Solace at World’s End could be the game for you. It's set in a bleak future where, to escape suffering, majority of the population hand entered into an artificial sleep resulting in them being called as "Wantless." The game is set to come out on Steam Early Access on November 8.

In the game, you get to take on the role of Eiris, who is one of the last remaining Transposers. These are doctors who can dive in the tortured minds of their patients and ease their torments, erase memories, and more.

Like with most tactical RPG, you get action points at the start of each turn. However, using one grants it to each enemy. What this means is that the more you act, then the more opponents react. The good news is that defeating enemies give you action points, which should allow for potentially devastating turns in your favor.

Battle in the Mind

Since fights take place within the subconscious of the patients, it's important to remember that you need to proceed caution to safeguard key memories and of course, avoid instability as much as possible. The more disruptions are caused, the weirder things get.

Early Access Features

In early access, developer Drop Rate Studio revealed in a post that features include:

  • More than 50 effects and 30 forms waiting to be combined at will into thousands of deadly custom spells.
  • Face more than 50 enemies as you try and navigate the minds of your patients.
  • Fight against 20 formidable bosses which include 10 unique bosses, each one having their own strategies.
  • Explore 6 Biomes, each featuring a different environment along with its own set of monsters.
