Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Release Delayed to December 14

Video game developer and publisher Cygames announced that it was moving the release date for its upcoming title Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. From the original launch date of November 30, the game is now coming out on December 14. It's going to be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the PC via Steam.

With the new release date, Early Access play that's included with the preorders of the Deluxe Edition from the PlayStation Store now start on December 11. However, players are reminded that this may rescheduled for maintenance or for other reasons. Cygames said in a statement that they sincerely apologize to those were looking forward to the release. The studio went on to say that the delay was "to further improve the game’s quality" and be able to deliver to players the best experience possible.

While waiting for the release date, players can join the second open beta test which is happening between November 9 to November 12. This beta test features cross-platform multiplayer along with the Grand Bruise Legends! party mode.

There are two editions offered with the Standard Edition priced at $49.99. In addition to the base game, it comes with the Granblue Special Item Set: GBVSR Pack though this is only for those on PlayStation consoles. A PSN Avatar Set is also included but limited to preorders on the PS4 and PS5.

A Deluxe Edition is also available for $74.99 and has what's offered in the Standard Edition. However, it also has 4 Color Variants and 3 Weapon Skins for the 28 Base Characters. It also comes with the Deluxe Character Pass Part 1 which has:
