What do you get when you have a roguelike deckbuilding game with autobattler elements added to it? It's called Hadean Tactics and offers a rather unique strategy experience. It's now available on Steam and currently being offered at a 35% discount until September 5.
In the game, players use cards as a way to influence the actions of their units along with helping their Hero defeat enemies. The gameplay also involves procedurally generated paths, unique units, and a wide range of relics which can chance the tide of battle. Then there's the innovative battle system which comes with the control of deckbuilding and combines it with semi real-time combat. These all combine for a unique experience in each run.
Key Features
The game has three main features with the first one being all about the cards. These are items which can influence the actions of the different units. Second is that there's going to be a new map available on each run. The game has realms which have different circles and come with different bosses who serve as the rulers. Each map offers unique events not during combat but even when outside it.
Finally, players can create and have their very own custom Heroes and decks. By managing the stats and them combining skills and alliances, there are synergies available which can lead to new strategies.
