IfSunSets is Now Offered at 20% Discount on Steam

Game development and publishing company Smilegate announced that the survival RPG adventure IfSunSets is part of the Steam Winter Sale 2024. That means players can buy the game for 20% off. The sale period is now live and runs until January 2, 2025.

In a statement, POLYMORPH CEBU Byunghun Cho shared that by being for the Steam Winter Sale, they’ve made it easier for those who want to be in the island of Luminora during the holiday season. He went on to say that this is also the best time to play the game considering that the development has been working diligently to “update and stabilize” not only the singleplayer feature but also the multiplayer experience.

IfSunSets was released in Early Access on Steam back in November. The game is the debut release from developer POLYMORPH. It’s set on the mysterious island of Luminora where an ancient civilization once ruled and developed the arcane method of extracting the life force of beings. While this initially brought the island great prosperity, the quest for divine power has resulted in a curse that has since enveloped the island in darkness. Centuries later, a wanderer caught in the maelstrom of a kraken's wrath drifted ashore onto this mysterious forsaken island.

Different Modes

For Early Access, the game offers five different modes. There's the Standard Mode where zombies appear and Safe Night Mode which features a world without zombies. Custom Mode meanwhile lets players tweak the world to what they want. Finally, the two additional modes are Easy and Hard.

Day and Night Cycles

IfSunSets feature immersive day-and-night cycles and each one offering unique gameplay experiences. During the day for example, players can explore the island to hunt, farm, fish, and pretty much gather whatever resources they can get their hands on. They also get crafting materials, build fortifications, and level up. What this means is that players need to make the most of every moment.

At night, the gameplay shifts from being an RPG adventure to one that's best described as survival horror. There's going to be swarms of monsters that relentlessly stalk the players. They'll need to do what they can to survive until the morning. Get IfSunSets on Steam now.
