The dark action RPG Immortal Hunters is now in Early Access on Steam. The game takes everyone to world that's on the brink of destruction with the Immortal Hunters that only force left fighting for humanity against the Khemrid apocalypse. As part of the release, the game is being offered at a 10% discount for a limited period.
In the game, the Immortal Hunters are the holy warriors of the Church. Players get to select from four distinct heroes, each one having unique abilities and combat styles. These include commanding ice magic as a powerful warrior, wielding those explosive arrows as a fiery ranger, deceiving enemies by being a dual-wielding illusionist, or harnessing the power of lightning as a vengeful sorceress. In addition, players can also enjoy the personal story of each hero as it is deeply intertwined with the larger narrative.
The Armored Carts
One of the unique features of the game is the powerful and self-propelled carriages which are driven by Holy Fires. These armored carts help players in travelling across Inholm while at the same time add that engaging and dynamic layer to the gameplay. Players need to defend the cart and make sure that they can utilize the unique features that's customized to each hero.
Early Access Vision
While the game is still in Early Access, the game does offer polished core gameplay, featuring fast-paced combat and a rich narrative. In addition, players get to play an important role when it comes to shaping the final version of the game. There are already plans not just to expand the RPG elements but also introduce character storylines, quests, and locations.
In a statement, Admiral Games studio head and lead artist Roman Artamonov revealed that they made the decision to focus on the mechanics and gameplay. He added that during Early Access, they'll continue to develop the role-playing system while also adding new content.
Lead writer Mark Rhainer shared that the goal for now is to deliver a core narrative. He said that this phase of development allows them to expand the story. For now, Rhainer went on to say, it's all about the town of Inholm but over time more quests and locations are to be added.
