It was in 2018 when players were introduced to the open world of Appalachia with the release of Fallout 76. With that in mind, everyone is invited to the fifth year anniversary with in-game items and even a parade stream.
The actual anniversary is on November 14, but the celebration started October 23. Here are the remaining activities:
- October 25: Wasteland Classroom Stream with King Gothalion and Kenneth from Chad: A Fallout 78 Podcast
- November 1: Wasteland Classroom Stream with Tooniversal and Nerdynetty
- November 2: Dev Q&A on Discord
- November 7: Start of Birthday Challenge Event
- November 14: Birthday Parade Stream with Fallout for Hope and Chad Podcast
Spooky Scorched
In addition to the fifth anniversary, players can look forward to the Spooky Scorched event which runs from October 24 to November 7. For those new to the game, this is the time of the year when scorched enemies put on their favorite creepy costumes and then go around the Appalachia looking for sweets. All players need to do is defeat these frightful beings and then make sure to grab their Mysterious Candy and, hopefully, Legendary items.
After a day of tricking, players can go treat themselves by heading over to the C.A.M.P.s of the other players. Some of them should have Candy Bowls just waiting for others to help yourself. Of course, players can also be part of this timeless tradition and put out a candy bowl on their own C.A.M.P.
Those who can complete Daily and Weekly Trick or Treat Challenges get rewarded with the new Mothman Nest C.A.M.P. item.
Enjoy the Sales
For those who may have forgotten, Fallout Day was last October 23. A giveaway promotion is ongoing and there's still time to enjoy them before it ends October 26. Just log in to the game before the promotion ends to a gift which many contain Lunchboxes, a Pet Carrier or even some delicious Nuka-Cola Quantum.
That's not all since Halloween Sale is back and this means saving on selected bundles. Items up for grabs include haunted room themes, costumed outfits in Lunchboxes, and Quests like "The Mystery of Vault 31” and “Haunting of Mass Chemical." The sale runs from October 28 to October 31.
