Laura Walker Joins the Fight in Solo Leveling: ARISE

Netmarble has released a new update for Solo Leveling: ARISE. The highlight is the addition of a new SSR hunter to the roster. Get ready to meet the Light-element Mage hunter Laura Walker.

Laura Walker is the personal secretary to Guild Master Thomas Andre. Her specialization is whip-based combat combined with business-themed skills. One of her skills for example is known as "Task Loop." What it does is allow her to release a continuous series of whip strikes as long as the skill button is held down. Her Ultimate skill is "Apex Administrator," which lets Laura summon a massive leopard that's enveloped in lightning to devastate enemies.

In addition to being added to the roster, the new update also brings with it new costumes for Laura.

Other New Content

The update introduces a Hard difficulty mode to the Workshop of Brilliant Light Puppeteer’s Theater. There's also a First Clear Event where players are able to conquer the challenge before anyone else gets rewarded.

There are also new costumes for Goto Ryuji and a new Job Change costume for Jinwoo. Players can also check out a new weapon skin for the weapon “Ennio’s Roar.” That's not all since Hidden Chapters have been added to the Main Story (Normal / Reverse Normal Modes) and Expert Mode Chapters 16–18 are now unlocked.

Solo Leveling: ARISE is based on the popular webtoon Solo Leveling. It offers fans an immersive journey across the world of their favorite characters. Players take on the role of Jinwoo and see him rise from being the weakest hunter among mankind to becoming the world’s strongest. The game delivers an experience that closely mirrors the original work.

Solo Leveling: ARISE is already available on mobile platforms. A Steam version was originally planned to be released. It has since been changed to Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE which offers a new story and new adventure. This title is now available on Steam and you can read more about it here.
