Loot the Universe Returns to Borderlands 3

Attention everyone! It's time to get ready and farm Legendary look like there's no tomorrow. That's because Loot the Universe is returning to Borderlands 3 for a limited time.

Each week beginning September 7 and all the way to October 5, two planets in the game, one from the base game and one from the add-on content, are going to have increased drop chances when it comes to certain types of Legendary loot. In addition, it's going to be in specific yet undisclosed locations. For example, during the Promethea's week of Loot the Universe, various kinds of Legendary loot can be found in Meridian Metroplex compared to Atlas HQ.

For the duration of this limited time event, the entire Borderlands community needs to collectively figure out each week where the hotspots are and then go after those coveted pieces of loot. Like what has been done in the past, the affected zone of each planet have their own dedicate Legendary weapon type that include Pistol, Shotgun, SMG, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, or Heavy. There's also going to be increased chances when it comes to the gear types like Class Mods, Artifacts, Shields, or Grenade Mods.

Here’s the schedule on which planets are affected:

• Week 1 (September 7 to September 14) - Eden-6 and Gehenna

• Week 2 (September 14 to September 21) - Promethea and The Handsome Jackpot

• Week 3 (September 21 to September 28) - Pandora and Xylourgos

• Week 4 (September 28 to October 5) - Nekrotafeyo and Krieg's Mind

For those who haven't yet tried the game, one version to buy is the Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box. It's a bit pricey but its has everything that you need to be part of the Borderlands universe. For starters it has the six base games which are Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands, Borderlands 3, and New Tales from the Borderlands. It also has all the add-on content for all the games.
