LunarLux: Launching for PC through Steam this September 18

CosmicNobab Games and Freedom Games announced that its upcoming action-adventure pixel role-playing game is launching on PC through Steam on Steam 18. LunarLux invites players to a grand adventure that's all about truth, justice, science, and confidence.

The story takes place at a time when humanity faced a devastating comet and had them move their lives from Terra to a new home which is the moon Luna. It is now the year 30XX and the comet that was responsible for Terra's destruction is back. Making the problem worse is that Luna lies in the comet's path. To save her home, the Lunar Warrior Bella sets off on a mission to find a way to stop the comet before humanity again faces destruction. To find the answers she needs, Bella has to travel across the moonscape. She won't be along since accompanying her is the robotic sidekick Tetra.

A Journey on the Moon

In the game, players get to choose how to travel on the rough moonscape. They can do it on foot, through a jet suit, or for those who just want to zip their way with east, a customizable spaceship. They can also interact with a lot of the surroundings. Players can also perform different actions like petting dogs over and over to get a special interaction. They can also make friends with the local rocks, look around for those hidden Easter eggs.

Along the journey, players also meet some charming characters and possibly befriend them. Of course, there are also hostile encounters to consider but the good news is that Bella is more than equipped for it especially with her Lux power.

A Peek at the Gameplay

LunarLux offers players a turn-and-action battle system where they need to choose how to attack and time them to get those optimal strikes. It's also going to be a learning experience considering that the game's battle mechanics not only has 40 active skills but also 30 support skills. Another mechanic is the Lux Meter which can be filled up by stacking skills and can then release as much as 30 Lux Combos.

The game also has malfunctioning networks which needs players to complete mini-game challenges which are specific to each of the network. Tetra though is helping players on this one.
