The full release of Skel Dungeon: Heroes Must Die! is finally here and available on Steam. With this, players can now explore the game world and dive headfirst to the gameplay experience. As part of the launch, the game is currently being offered at 10% off for a limited period.

What can players expect for the full version? They can enjoy seven unique stages. Then there's the Endless Mode which offers hours of strategic gameplay and dungeon-building challenges. In this mode they can test their endurance and compete with other players to see who can survive the longest versus endless waves of heroes.

Defend Against the Heroes

The game is set in a medieval fantasy world where the Demon Lord has been sealed deep within a hidden dungeon. It follows the story of a fallen demonic castle that's been overrun by heroes. Players take on the role of small skeleton who has to defend the dungeon against the invading heroes and gather the sacrifices needed to resurrect the Demon Lord.

As a way of defending the dungeon, players need to strategically place trap rooms to challenge incoming heroes and possibly prevent them from ever entering. Players can experiment with different trap concepts and try to discover hidden synergies to come up with unique devastating trap setups.

It's not all trap since it's going to reach a point where they must fight against the heroes. In fact, players can control the action with direct combat. They can defeat heroes in hand-to-hand battles and then harness their abilities through transformations. This adds layers of depth to the strategic options.

The game is truly exciting since with each playthrough, players get to unlock new trap rooms, access new transformations, and even obtain new talents. All to help in the fight and defend the dungeon. Players can customize builds and strategies to face ever-stronger waves of enemies.
