Modding Tool Lets You Create Your Own Story in Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew

It was a while back when developer Mimimi Games revealed that the Yuki’s Wish and Zagan’s Ritual DLCs were going to be the last for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. However, it looks like the studio has one more surprise for everyone. You see, a lot of players have been asking for some type of modding level editor. That "Modding Tool" is now available in the game through a free update.

The studio though reminds players that this tool is only offered for the PC version. In addition, it's possible that bugs could appear in the modded content and the studio won't be able provide fixes.

With the new "Modding Tool," players can let their imagination run free as they get to create their very own custom mods. With this new feature, players get to craft their own missions as they forge their own captivating stories.

Through this new tool, players not only can spawn characters and enemies but even NPCs. It's also possible to place different objects as well as interactive elements to allow for that new dynamic landscape within existing locations in the game. There are already set animations to use with players being able to establish routines for the enemy guards. They can even add their very own dramatic flair through cutscenes and dialogues.

There’s no question that the new tool is an excellent way to get creative. Making it even better is an “Export” feature which let players export whatever it is they created to a folder on their PC.

Exciting as all these are, the studio cautioned players that this "Modding Tool" has some limitations considering that "it’s not a fully-fledged modding editor." You can learn more about feature here.
