Sabotage Studio announced that it has reached a milestone with its newest turn-based RPG. Released back in August of this year, Sea of Stars has seen more than four million players go on a new adventure.

This strong support from the community comes as the game has also been recognized with various awards that include Best Indie Game at the Golden Joystick Awards 2023 and Best Independent Game during The Game Awards 2023. The game has been recognized as one of the best games of 2023 by the British Academy Film and Television Awards or BAFTA.

Talking about this newest achievement, studio co-founder Thierry Boulanger shared that Sea of Stars is the game of his dreams and to see how it has managed to resonate strongly with both critics and players "means the world to everyone" at the studio. Boulanger is also the game director for Sea of Stars. He went on to say that the team responsible for the game is not only the most talented but also the most dedicated.

Sea of Stars is the second game to be released by Sabotage Studio and is set in the same universe as The Messenger. The game hopes to modernize the classic RPG when it comes to turn-based combat, storytelling, exploration and interactions with the environment. At the same time, it aims to continue offering a hearty slice of nostalgia along with good old and simple fun.

Among the many features of the game is having players meet dozens of original characters while they progress through memorable narrative arcs across a captivating journey. Players can look forward to experiencing classic themes of adventure and friendship and at the same having unexpected twists and events.

Players can also experiment in combat without the fear of hitting that wall which needs grinding or farming for those unique items. In the game, defeat means a change in battle plans and never hours of repetition.

Sea of Stars is available for the PC and can be purchased via Steam. It’s also out for consoles that include the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.
