The countdown to save the multiverse has begun, as indie developer Angry Mob Games announces that their action-roguelite platformer Trinity Fusion will enter Early Access on April 13th, available on Steam and Epic Games Store. The game made a successful splash during Steam Next Fest and other events like EGX, leading the developers to move into Early Access.

In Trinity Fusion, players assume the role of Maya, a cross-dimensional warrior connected to three parallel versions of herself. Facing the imminent collapse of their worlds due to mutants and machines intent on annihilating humanity, players must work with Maya's alternate identities to quell the uprising, fuse their worlds, and prevent the multiverse's destruction.

Each reality presents its unique challenges and versions of Maya, each equipped with distinct weapons and abilities. Utilizing a range of attack styles, players can employ equipment that inflicts status effects, deal heavy bursts of damage from afar, or engage in close-quarters combat with blades and hammers.

Trinity Fusion elevates the genre by blending high-paced combat with a robust, immersive narrative story foundation. Early Access will offer a vast expansion on the polished combat from the Next Fest demo, introducing new terrestrial biomes to explore, a story to unravel, and a host of new gameplay modifiers. Key features of the game include a journey through the multiverse, high-intensity combat, three heroines with unique universes to explore, and continuous progression.

In their journey through the multiverse, players will fight through a mix of procedurally-generated levels and hand-crafted stages set in a dark sci-fi world with stunning 3D graphics. The high-intensity combat leverages Angry Mob Games' experience in the fighting game genre, allowing players to slide, dash, and dodge between enemy attacks while striking back with a diverse array of special weapons and abilities.

Each of Maya's parallel selves inhabits a distinct world with multiple biomes to explore. Players will traverse a universe filled with desolate wastes and mutant-infested caverns, escape a machine-dominated world's relentless forges and laboratories, and survive the treacherous sky cities of a post-human society.

Trinity Fusion also offers continuous progression, allowing players to unlock permanent upgrades in The Citadel and discover new starting points for their run as they reclaim major locations in each universe. If players find themselves stuck in one area, they can opt to start their next run in a different reality.
