There's still no release date revealed for Surfpunk but we're getting other details on what to expect for the game. That's because developer Double Stallion has released a new trailer for the game.
The trailer in particular gives us a detailed look at the gameplay loop. It also features some never-before-seen footage especially for the tsunami escape and even the Beastship. Get to watch the new trailer here.
Surfpunk is a PvE co-op extraction ARPG that offers exhilarating combat and combines it with dynamic environments. This allows players to experience that ultimate adrenaline-pumping journey. Whether playing solo or with a team of up to three friends, players need to surf, shred, scavenge, and survive. All while facing dangerous choices at every turn.
Survive Each Run
For each run, players need to complete those high-stakes missions and have to escape before that colossal tsunami crashes over the islands. Meanwhile, combat is fast paced with players needing to master different weapon classes to release those devastating combos versus the relentless waves of Sumi. It’s also important to remember that teamwork is important when it comes to fighting enemies. Players should also make tactical decisions when it comes to choosing whether to get more loot or just retreat to safety.
Back to the Beastship
Once each raid is done, players can then go back to the Beastship. There they can craft new weapons and enhance their gear as they prepare for the next adventure. The dynamic and procedurally generated maps mixed in with the endless side quests is sure to make each raid fresh and exhilarating.
