New Season of New World: Aeternum to Add Powerful Artifacts

A new season is coming soon to New World: Aeternum. There's a lot of new content to be introduced and today we're looking into some of those that include artifacts and new rewards.

New Artifacts

Season 8 is adding seven powerful new artifacts which are:

Old Crown (Head) – +10 to all attributes, comes with bonus gem functionality.

Relentless (Tower Shield) – Team armor aura and enhanced healing.

Vampire Vestments (Light Chest) – Lifesteal and mana synergy.

Wit (Sword) – Increased threat and damage mitigation on crits.

Chaos (Blunderbuss) – Launch enemies with fiery blast shots.

Runic Greaves (Heavy Feet) – Speed boost after using Heartrunes.

Lich Gloves (Light Hands) – Empower stacking with ability usage.

Seasonal Events

A new season means new season events. For Season 8, these are:

Springtide Bloom - Celebrate renewal with refreshed rewards and seasonal cosmetics.

Faction Fest: Expeditions - Choose a Faction, compete in themed activities, and earn rewards.

Fury of the Spriggan - Battle nature’s wrath with updated event rewards.

Aside from what's been mentioned, there are also XP Boost Events which include:

Expeditions Unleashed: World Bosses

The new season invites players to try and see if they have what it takes to take on colossal threats during limited-time and open-world events that feature iconic enemies from Expeditions. Players can rally together to defeat level 70 bosses for up-leveled loot (GS 715–725). Each event grants one guaranteed 725 GS item and multiple 710+ items.

Players can look forward to the bosses Mammoth Mahantaram, Scarab Boss Khepri, and Fire Naga Ifrit making appearances during Season 8.

Season 8 adds Seasonal World Hardcore to the game along with new PvP mode. The new season arrives May 13 and you can learn more about it here.
