New PvP Modes Coming to New World: Aeternum in New Season

A new season is set to arrive in New World: Aeternum. There's going to be a lot of new content for everyone to enjoy. One of these are the preview events which feature new PvP modes and even new maps for existing PvP modes.

These limited time events are going to occur across Season 8 and to be active for several days. Exact dates for the preview events are to be shared during the season.

Capture the Flag Preview

Capture the Flag is a new PvP mode that players can test during Season 8. This exciting new mode pits two teams of 10 players against each other in a fast-paced fight to control the team’s flag. Teams need to score as many captures as they can in the limited time to win.

Powerups and Jump Pads in this mode make it feel more competitive and unlike any other PvP mode in the game.

Outpost Rush: Barebones Preview

This one offers a new spin on the game's most popular game mode. It offers to level the playing field completely. That's because for this version, all gear perks are disabled and everyone is bumped up to max gear score. This is a good mode for thoe who think their gear isn’t good enough for PvP or want to prove that they're better than their gear.

3v3 Arena Map Preview

The upcoming season of New World: Aeternum is also set to offer 3v3 Arenas that features what may be the game's largest arena to date. It's set in an ancient temple grove where the death fog closes in sooner and causes an early ranged advantage to quickly become a melee advantage.
