New Track from Tom Morello Coming to FINAL FANTASY XIV Online

Square Enix announced that that the latest tier of the Arcadion raid series is coming to FINAL FANTASY XIV Online and brings with it something exciting. Get ready to enjoy a new track from none other than Grammy Award-winning artist Tom Morello. Making things even better is that the tack features Caleb Shomo.

For those not familiar, Tom Morello is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and political activist. He's been involved is various bands that include Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Prophets of Rage. Caleb Shomo meanwhile is the lead-vocalist of Beartooth, a rock band hailing from Columbus, Ohio.

The track is titled "Everything Burns" and to be featured on Tom Morello's new album. Releasing in 2026, it's going to be the first true solo rock album by Tom Morello.

For FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, the track is releasing as a standalone single on December 17. Inside the game it's being features in the "AAC Heavyweight M4" and "AAC Heavyweight M4 (Savage)" raid encounters.

The track is the result of a conversation from Tom Morello's long-time friend Jason Charles Miller. Players of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online should be familiar with the name since he's served as the vocalist for some of the most iconic tracks in the game like "Close in the Distance" and "To the Edge." It was after sharing the passion for Tom Morello's music with FFXIV Sound Director and Composer Masayoshi Soken, it was then that the wheels were set in motion and resulted in this hard-hitting and ear-splitting track.

New Update

The new track arrives to the game along with Patch 7.4. It introduces a lot of new content like the upcoming 72-player Frontline PvP campaign. It also added the Worqor Chirteh (Triumph), which has teams fight over objectives while weather conditions threaten to turn the tide of battle at any moment. Learn more about Patch 7.4 here.
