New Trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Released

Owlcat Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming title Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. It showcases how the freedom given to a Rogue Trader can influence the consequences. The studio also announced that the game is set to feature Japanese localization (subtitles) once it's released.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is a traditional cRPG offers players an experience that's shaped by their decisions. Depending on what path is chosen, the Koronus Expanse and the powerful entities change in response. This should open up new gameplay opportunities for everyone. In the new trailer released, fans can learn more about the Inquisitor Xavier Calcazar and how the power and authority that he wields are enough to make any Rogue Trader green with envy.

In the game, players take on the role of a Rogue Trader. In particular, they play the scion of an ancient dynasty of daring privateers who have ruled on their own trade protectorate. Players get to explore the fringes of Imperial space bringing with them the blessing of none other than the Emperor Himself. The game focuses mainly on the dangerous and unexplored region of the Koronus Expanse, located on the farthest frontiers of the Imperium. A lot of explorers have actually fallen to this area of the galaxy and have not returned. However, there are also those who look for a challenge and have grown stronger.

Decisions Matter

During their quests, players can show their subjects mercy or disdain. They can also choose to remain faithful to the God-Emperor or make a deal with the enemies of mankind. Each decision and each act can change the in-game open world even during character creation.
