Operation: Eight Claw Begins in Warframe

A new update is now live in Warframe and invites all players to Operation: Eight Claw. It starts June 25 and ends July 16.

The event takes players to Duviri, which is now in grave peril. It seems that Dominus Thrax has asked for the help of the Drifter. That's because the Lost Island of Scholar’s Landing has returned and brought with it menaces of the Void. In addition, Major Neci Rusalka has usurped Thrax’s throne and now threatens the reality of Duviri altogether.

With the help of Dominus Thrax, players need to head back to Duviri and fight against new Murmur enemies, especially if they are to reach the depths of the island. However, a deadly inhabitant stands in the way.

Starting the Operation

In order to access the Operation, players need to make sure that they've completed the Hex Quest. Once that's done, the Isleweaver node should appear in Duviri’s Navigation.

While Operation: Eight Claw is live, players can earn a special resource called Dominus Aureus as they fight in Scholar’s Landing. These can then be used to trade with Dominus Thrax for Operation specific rewards. Check out the rewards here.

Once the operation has concluded, the Isleweaver node remains accessible from Duviri’s Navigation.

Operation is a Go

In the Operation, players start in the familiar cave of Duviri. However, there's a visitor who's none other than Dominus Thrax himself. To make sure that the Rusalka can be swiftly removed from the Kingdom of Duviri, Thrax has given approval to use Warframes in Duviri without any restriction. Players can pick their loadout for the fight ahead and head through the portal.

Players face a pre-selected set of objectives to progress through the island, which include a faceoff with Oraxia. The objective types are randomized per run, though each comes with a fight against Oraxia as the 5th to complete. The final showdown is with a familiar Murmur boss.

Once all objectives have been completed, players can get their hands on a chest to claim their reward of 18-22 Dominus Aureus.
