Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors has officially been released on Steam Early Access. With this, everyone now has the chance to experience the world of Pathfinder through a new lens. It's available for $6.99 but right now is being offered at a launch discount of 20% for a limited period. Fans can also choose to get the Bullet Hell Survivor Bundle which now only has Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors but also Soulstone Survivors and even 20 Minutes Till Dawn.
For those new to the world of Pathfinder, one of the important characters is the disgraced lich-emperor Tar-Baphon. Considered as one of the most ancient and even powerful villains, he's been sealed away with the depths of Gallowspire. However, he has long been planning for his eventual dark return. As the wards that have been made to contain him start to fail, it's now up to three heroes to rise to the occasion and journey to the depths of Gallowspire to not only defeat Tar-Baphon but also repair the wards to keep him sealed away.
Players get to choose between Fighter, Wizard, or Rogue. Each one has their own talents and strengths that can be used to help in the fight against Tar-Baphon. While these heroes may indeed be skilled, it may not be enough to seal the villain along. Players can choose an ally that fight alongside them while they fight against the undead minions, collect and upgrade spells and weapons, and defeat the bosses.
Now it's possible that there's going to be failures during the journey. The good news is that players have help from an ancient medallion which allow them to escape death but also grow stronger with each attempt. It's important to remember that only those strong enough to break through Gallowspire can go against the Whispering Tyrant. In addition, one win against this evil won't be enough to seal him away for good. Players need to face him again and again to make sure that Golarion has the time it needs to prepare and be ready for the return of Tar-Baphon.
