2Awesome Studio announced that Pecaminosa: A Deadly Hand is coming to the PC via Steam on February 28. This detective action RPG is also launching for consoles PlayStation, Xbox, and the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for the Xbox and Switch are scheduled to start February 21.
This upcoming release is actually re-edition and comes with not only the original game Pecaminosa - A Pixel Noir Game but also the most recent DLC which is La Soirée. The DLC features an epilogue chapter which offers closure to a few unfinished mysteries from the original ending.
The Detective
Pecaminosa: A Deadly Hand is set in a border town lying between the United States and Mexico. Here gambling, corruption and crime are considered as a daily occurrence. Enter John Souza, a former detective who's seen better days. For him, this town is the perfect place to lay low while seeking solace at the bottom of a bottle.
John would never have suspected that he would be getting his next job from a real ghost. Appearing before him is Charlie's "Two Angels" specter who asks him to capture his former associates. Doing so would let them achieve redemption for their sins and thus pass through the gates of Heaven.
In the Shadows
In the game, players get to experience the dark and criminal world that's sure to appeal to even their most basic instincts. They get to push the moral limits and find out just how far they are willing to go to complete the mission. They can bet hard, drink until they collapse, and even surrender to pleasure. They'll also have to be friends with the scum while at the same time bribe the good guys. While imagination may indeed be the limit, players need to be careful especially as they may end with a bullet in their head.
Dressed to Kill
The game has players distribute their experience points into four different parameters which are Luck, Intelligence, Force and Endurance. They also get to choose the equipment based on their custom build. Players can also customize the appearance of their characters.
While players can take part in an intense and dashing narrative, it's not the only thing they can do in the game. That's because they'll need to fight against the big and bad bosses.
The original game Pecaminosa - A Pixel Noir Game is available on Steam.
