Great news console players! Potionomics: Masterwork Edition has been released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. The game is available digitally and in a limited physical release.
The Masterwork Edition offers an expanded version of the game, first released for the PC. The new features are sure to spice things up for new players and even those familiar with the game. There's the voice acting that brings the story to life and the Cozy and Capitalism difficulty options. Players can also enjoy the Endless gameplay mode which expands replayability.
That's not all since the Masterwork Edition also offers an expanded role for wealthy potion dealer and rival Boss Finn. He joins the cast of romanceable characters with brand-new story scenes. Then there's also the "life coach" services of Sylvia which players can buy for added benefits in potion-selling. Offered as well are cards to expand Sylvia's haggling skills.
PC Version
While this new version is all about console players, there's also something for the PC version. They get to enjoy a free update which adds the new gameplay features mentioned. The update is free to those who already have the game with Voracious Games revealing in a statement that it's going to be included in the PC release moving forward.
PC players can also get the "Boss Finn Content Pack" which is offered at $4.99.
Potionomics tells the story of Sylvia who suddenly finds herself in the role of being a potion proprietor. She’s now being tasked with carrying on the legacy of her uncle and have to make sure that the potion shop remains afloat. The good news is that she won’t be doing it all since she’s getting help from some new friends. To make her potion shop the number one in Rafta, she’ll need to hone those negotiation skills and of course, outselling her craftiest competitors.
Potionomics is all about perfecting the potion-brewing craft and building the deck of haggling cards to help make the most of each sale to succeed in Rafta’s lively economy, players need to get to know the colorful residents who are more than willing to help in collecting new recipes, elite ingredients, and even new cards for the deck.
