Rice Games announced that pre-orders for Shujinkou are available. Now before you get too excited, this is for the PlayStation 5 through the PlayStation Store.
Shujinkou is being offered in three different editions and these are:
- Base Edition ($59.99)
- Deluxe Edition ($69.99)
- Super Deluxe Edition ($79.99)

Anyway, those who pre-order the Deluxe or Super Deluxe edition can get one-week early access to the full game. It means they can start playing Shujinkou on February 6.
Pre-Order Bonus
Those who pre-order the game get bonus items in the form of a starter pack of seven different kinds of special items. Six of these are exclusive to the pre-order bonus and cannot be obtained in any other way. These are:
- Golden Akami Nigiri: An exclusive special healing item that heals double the TR (health) that an Akami Nigiri heals.
- Golden Salmon Nigiri: An exclusive special healing item that heals double the MR (mana) that a Salmon Nigiri heals.
- Golden Ikura: An exclusive special healing item that revives 100% of the target's TR when used (standard Ikura only heal 1% of the TR).
- Stack of Kin: An exclusive item that provides players with 8 Kin upon using it. Kin is a rare currency that is difficult to find and grind—it can be used to purchase high-quality equipment and more.
- Level Up Sake: Rare items that can only be found in rare treasure chests, this drink levels up the selected character by one level.
- Big Bag of Gin: An exclusive item that provides players with 1000 Gin upon using it. Gin is a common currency that is used to buy items like sushi, drinks, meals, and more.
- Shujinkou Beach Painting: An exclusive decoration item that can be used to decorate the Akagi. It features a short, special cutscene between Shu, Jin, and Kou. The Akagi Decoration functionality is unlocked after the player progresses through a certain point in time.
PlayStation Network Avatars
Those who pre-order for the PS5 can also obtain a certain number of avatars based on what edition was pre-ordered. For example, those who pre-order the Base Edition can get avatars for Shu, Jin, and Kou. Meanwhile, pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition gives the avatars in the Base Edition plus avatars for Tatiana and Otogawa.
Finally, Super Deluxe Edition pre-orders have everything offered in the Deluxe Edition pre-order along with avatars for Sugi and Kiyo.
