Rune Factory 3 Special is Now Available in North America for the PC

Rune Factory 3 Special is finally out and now available in North America for the PC through Steam. This is an upgraded and expanded version of Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, released in 2009.

Originally launched for the Nintendo DS, the remastered version features gorgeous HD graphics along with redesigned 3D character models. It improves on the original designs while making sure that the unique appeal remains. Aside from the enhanced visuals, players can also enjoy the new features like the Newlywed Mode. This mode offers standalone adventures which are unlock after players marry each of the 11 eligible bachelorettes in the game. A "Hell" difficulty level is also available to veteran players looking for a challenge.

Meet Micah

In the game, players take on the role of a young man named Micah. He was actually discovered as a wooly, which is a sheep-like monster. However, he magically transforms into a human form and has no memory of the past except his name. Micah decides to live in Sharance where he suddenly finds himself in the middle of a conflict between the human community and the univir, a race of monsters. Now he has to work and find a way to build a bridge between these two races while tending to his farm and building relationships with the locals.

What to Expect

Key features of the game are:

• Restore the Balance Between Two Worlds: Take on the role of Micah and find a way for monsters and humans to exist together.

• Sow the Seeds of New Life: Take a break from adventuring and do other activities like fishing and farming, to name a few. Learn about the different varieties of Magic Seeds, which grow into strange crops that can help in Micah in exciting ways.

• Find That Special Someone: Meet 11 lovely bachelorettes, the most in the history of the series. Interact with these bachelorettes on a daily basis to learn more about them. Get to fall in love and then pop the question and later get married.

The game is available digitally with the standard edition offered at $39.99. Also available is the Digital Deluxe Edition priced at $49.99. In addition to the base game, it comes with the "Swimsuit Mode" DLC.
