SAE Challenges You to Try and Survive a Tropical Island Chain

When you hear the words "South Pacific," the first things that come to mind would be beaches, sand, and islands. That's still true, in a way, but SAE puts a twist on it. The game takes you to a tropical island change where you need to do what it takes to survive.

The game has you start being marooned on a rather pristine tropical island chain that's located in the heart of the South Pacific. With its lush jungles, the crystal-clear waters, and even expansive skies which stretch to the horizon, there's no question that the beauty of these remote islands are truly mesmerizing. However, it seems that this paradise holds secrets that are far darker and quite possibly more treacherous than you can ever imagine.

While the island chain is the very embodiment of paradise, you'll soon realize that appearances can indeed be deceiving. Nature on the islands are both wild and untamed with danger lurking in each corner. There are venomous sea urchins lying in shallow waters with cunning predators on land stalking their prey. Enigmatic creatures are also present and haunt moonlit nights.

Trying to Survive

To survive, you're going to have into your most primal survival instincts. You'll have to collect resources, craft essential tools, and even build basic shelters. That's not all since you'll also master making fire since it not only provides light and warmth but also serves as a defense against whatever threat is lurking in the dark. To ensure that you get your next meal, you'll have to set some truly ingenious traps.

Discovering Mysteries

As you fight and struggle to survive, you'll discover hidden secrets and wonders that the islands hold. For example, there are the intricate cave systems which wind across the archipelago. These hide untold mysteries along with valuable resources. There are also treasures lying in wait under the turquoise waves and in the breathtaking underwater world.

Escaping the Islands

Of course, the ultimate goal is to find a way to return to civilization. The question is do you have what it takes to face the challenges that the islands throw at you and make your escape?
