The new expansion for Where Winds Meet releases tomorrow. Dropping alongside it is the Sealed Treasury campaign.
This new campaign has players follow an anonymous letter into a heavily guarded royal vault. There, secrets are revealed which are deeply tied to the power structure of the dynasty. It doesn't end there as in June, the Confinement Tower campaign opens and invites players to the palace's underground prison. In this one, players encounter a familiar stranger in a brutal illusion born of hatred. It then culminates in a fierce battle against the furious boss.
Danger in the Palace
The new expansion also introduces new World Bosses within the palace grounds. There are two of them with the first one being the Gilded Lament, a being born from the lingering tragedy of the Cold Palace. The second one is the Cat Emperor, an eerie transformation of a once-auspicious imperial feline.
There's also two new multiplayer campaigns that are unlocked after the update. It offers players the chance to confront the unpredictable attack patterns of the mythical beast Everdeer and engage in a moonlight battle of speed and strategy against Moongazing.
The Imperial Palace
The upcoming expansion is titled Imperial Palace. In addition to what's already been mentioned, it opens up the Kaifeng Imperial Palace which gives players access to three unique areas, each one offering different experiences. There's also a lot of activities that players can do in the Imperial Palace. There are also new events being planned.
Where Winds Meet has players uncover the mystique of Wuxia martial arts. They can craft and customize their characters and progression by making use of a unique eastern combat system inspired by Wuxia. Where Winds Meet gives players access to a wide range of familiar and exotic weapons along with skills to unlock and upgrade. Players can engage in direct close-quarters combat as they wield an arsenal of weapons that include the Spear, Sword, Dual Blades, Glaive, Umbrella, and Fans.
