Shifting Sands DLC Now is Soulmask

After almost two years, Soulmask has finally exited early access. Launching alongside version 1.0 is a free DLC. Shifting Sands offers a new world that's built on the same scale as the base game.

This DLC is rooted in ancient Egyptian mythology and driven by the spirit of an anti-gravity Sun Ship civilization. It weaves together sandstorms, mechanical ruins, and four divine guardians into the most ambitious adventure this series has ever seen.

An Egyptian Open World

The open world has floating pyramids across the dune fields as they loom over abandoned temples. There are also the ruins of a lost civilization that lie buried deep beneath the sands. However, players need to be wary since Sand Bandit factions are said to weild ancient technology. In addition, there's two entirely new tribes that's not afraid to stand openly against players at every turn.

As they venture further into the Death Desert and the Eye of Sand, players are greeted with lethal heat and eternal sandstorms.

The Ship

The most ambitious feature in the new DLC though aren't the Masks or even the ruins. Instead, it's the ship. Once players manage to defeat Sobek, they can then get their hands on their first anti-gravity engine. It then results in the tribe being able to finally break free from the earth below. To protect against any threats, players can equip their ship with Cannons, Energy Shields, Rockbreaker Turrets, and even a Battleship Main Cannon.

Once everything is ready, players can move their entire production line and all their tribesmen onto the ship. This means players can keep their settlement running as they travel and are no longer tied to a single piece of land. There's also a ship-linking system where players can combine factory ships, warships, and scout vessels into their own airborne fleet.

Of course, there are also new masks available for players to enjoy. Learn more about the new Shifting Sands DLC here.
