Skull and Bones Takes You to the Shadows of the Deep with a New Ship

Season 4 of Skull and Bones is finally here. In Shadows of the Deep new threats have appeared in the Indian Ocean. The good news is that to counter this threat, players can earn a new ship and new weapons, among many others.

The new ship is known as the Garuda. It's a sharpshooter which deals optimal damage at long range and specializes in Piercing weapons. In the game, piercing weapons deal 20% more piercing damage, an effect which increases by 10% per 100m of distance from the target. One interesting feature about this ship is that when the health of its hull goes below 40%, the armor increases by 1,000. In addition, trimming doesn't costs any stamina for 10 seconds.

Once the ship is upgraded, it allows for better navigation stats and more furniture slots. It also adds the Revolver perk, which increases weapon damage by 30% when hitting a target with Shattered Armor debuff. The Garuda can be unlocked through the Smuggler Pass.

Soulshield Springloader

Once players are able to defeat the new pirate lord Vikram Rajan in a fight, they get to obtain the Soulshield Springloadery. This is an auxiliary weapon which players can use to protect themselves and their teammates. Once it’s deployed, it creates a dome of soul magic which can shield a maximum of 25,000 damage for 30 seconds.

The Gatling Gun

Meanwhile, those looking for a more offensive approach can check out the Gatling Gun. It’s a modified sea fire weapon which can be placed on the bow. Players can buy this new weapon using Sovereigns. The perks of this weapon let it rapidly fire incendiary bullets at enemy ships while also adding 20% of Piercing damage plus 10% of burning damage to successful hits.

Shadow Aegis

Finally, there’s the new Shadow Aegis armor which can help protect the ship. It does this by negating status effects from enemy weapons when players brace. This can be found in Smuggler’s Pass.
