It appears that the hype for Legacy of Valor just keeps on getting higher. This time around developer Filip Husák revealed some interesting behind the scenes on the game's soundtrack.

The official soundtrack for Legacy of Valor was recorded with a live symphonic orchestra, solo vocalists, and even a full choir. What makes things even better is that all of these were done inside the historic chapel of Brandýs nad Labem Castle. The thing is, the unique acoustics within the ancient stone walls of this remarkable architecture resulted in each note having that extraordinary depth and resonance. It turned the music into something truly alive.

The tracks in the soundtrack were composed by Petr Folta and performed by the NEOM Orchestra. The soundtrack captures the soul of Legacy of Valor and that is the quiet tension before battle, the clash of steel, and the enduring spirit of honor and glory.

In a statement, the development team shared that they "had goosebumps hearing the[se] melodies." Each note carried the vision of the team forward which is a world that feels truly alive, epic, and worthy of its name. It's an atmosphere which feels on par with major world productions and it's clear Legacy of Valor is not aiming any lower.

Kickstarter Campaign

A while back, a Kickstarter campaign was launched for the game. Since then there have been some interesting milestones. For example, RPG Gamers reported a while back that the campaign had reached 36% of its goal within 2 days after the launch. As of this writing, there's nine days left in the campaign. Learn more about it here.

Legacy of Valor is a grand single-player/co-op medieval RPG that puts castle building, territory management, large scale battles, and a sweeping narrative, all into one unforgettable experience. It's set in a realistic Middle Ages realm that's been torn by ambition and conflict. The game has players rise from nothing and now risk it all.

The game has players expand the village, build a castle, and develop the entire settlement. They have to farm, gather resources, trade, and ensure the prosperity of the people. Players can even send out trading caravans to distant towns and manage the economy. It’s not going to be that easy since they also have to engage in real-time combat and protect the community. Players should also keep in mind that choices they make have an impact on the world around them and the future of their settlement. Making things exciting is that everyone can experience realistic day-night and weather cycles with changing conditions.
