Studio Says They’ve Reached 36% of Kickstarter Campaign for Legacy of Valor

Legacy of Valor developer Filip Husák announced that they've already managed to reach 36% of the goal for the Kickstarter campaign. What makes this milestone even more incredible is that all of these happened within two days of launching the campaign.

Considering the game is being worked on by a small team, this is indeed impressive. According to the studio, this is all thanks to the supporters whose "comments, messages, and shares" have brought the project to life. While part of the team is focused on the Kickstarter campaign, the other half has been presenting the first playable prototype of Legacy of Valor at Game City 2025 in Vienna. Those able to visit can experience the game firsthand, take a photo with one of the fearless knights, and even meet the lead creator Filip Husák. Check out the game at the Poznań Game Arena 2025 from October 24 to October 26.

Over the coming days, the studio revealed in a statement that they'll be sharing a longer and uncut look at gameplay footage from the prototype. They'll also be putting out more details on the stretch goals. There's also going to be Q&A sessions on Kickstarter, Steam, Discord, and social media.

Legacy of Valor is a grand single-player/co-op medieval RPG that puts castle building, territory management, large scale battles, and a sweeping narrative, all into one unforgettable experience. It's set in a realistic Middle Ages realm that's been torn by ambition and conflict. The game has players rise from nothing and now risk it all.

The game has players expand the village, build a castle, and develop the entire settlement. They have to farm, gather resources, trade, and ensure the prosperity of the people. Players can even send out trading caravans to distant towns and manage the economy. It’s not going to be that easy since they also have to engage in real-time combat and protect the community.

Players should also keep in mind that choices they make have an impact on the world around them and the future of their settlement. Making things exciting is that everyone can experience realistic day-night and weather cycles with changing conditions.
