Studio Gives Peek on What’s Being Planned for Hades II

Just in case you didn't know, the first major update for Hades II has been released. Among the many new additions, the highlights include the introduction of the third Region and the Guardian to the Surface Route. Then there's also the sixth and final main weapon to be added. With this in mind, Supergiant Games has revealed what's being planned in Early Access.

One of the features being worked on is Climactic Confrontation. Once this has been added to the game, the studio revealed in a post that it's going to mean that the main structure of the Surface Route is complete. Another feature are Boons. Players by now should know just how important this is when it comes to the game experience. The good news is that more Boons are planned to be added in the future.

Finally, players can look forward to new enemies. Once they go live, it should add variety to the combat encounter.

The studio also revealed that the next major update is planned to be released sometime in early 2025. This development should be a little less compared to The Olympic Update.

Hades II was released in Early Access back in May2024. The studio shared that it has been an important and eye-opening experience for the team especially as they continue to work on completing the game. It goes without saying that the studio is continuing to makes additions, changes, and even improvements, all to offer the “biggest, most replayable, most feature-rich game.”
