Start of the Journey

In the game, players follow alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt as she joins the Aladiss Research team in hope to learn more about the mysteries behind the cataclysm that destroyed the once great continent of Aladiss. The journey begins in the Ligneus region. This is where the Research team establishes its first base,

Yumia gets to travel across the plains and forest that make up the landscape while at the same time discover research facilities abandoned by the alchemists of the time. Among the points of interest in the region are the Arbor Botanical Garden and the 8th Laboratory.

A Passion for Fungi

Players who have a passion when it comes to fungi are sure to love the second area which is the Sivash region. It's known for its mushroom-like flora and this is where Yumia encounters the demihuman Welleks people. As players explore the region, the team also gets to meet what's known as the Neru people. This is a tribe of monsters that are said to be capable of human speech and can be recognized easily by their slender silhouette and mushroom-like umbrellas.

Points of interest in this region include the Preces Cathedral, which is a place of worship that lies at the center of the Welleks settlement. They can also explore the impressive ruins of a school that's known as Hermea Academy.

A Once Industrial Area

The third region that players can explore is the industrial Auruma region. It's one that's filled with the ruins of a once thriving city. Among the ruins that are still standing are the tree-like metal structure and a commercial district that features a station. Yumia also gets to visit the Mana Transposing Furnace, which was once the nerve centre for the study of mana for the whole of Aladiss.
