Studio Reveals Plans to Release More Gameplay Footage for EXODUS in the Coming Months

Archetype Entertainment recently released a new gameplay clip for EXODUS. It offers a quick look at what can be expected for the game. However, this is only the beginning.

In a post, the studio revealed that during the last Community update, they asked what players wanted to see and the answer was clear that it was gameplay. However, the players didn't want cinematics or even quick-cut trailers. Instead, the request was to see uninterrupted footage that shows what it looks like to play. That means combat encounters, choices, and even how a mission actually unfolds with someone at the controls.

With that, the studio shared that from now until early summer, they'll be releasing short gameplay clips across their official channels to show combat encounters, traversal, interactions, and environments. Then when summer arrives, there should be a longer gameplay showcase. Players can look forward to seeing continuous footage with moment-to-moment gameplay that includes combat, conversations, and in-mission choices, to name a few.

Once that's done, there's going to be a shift with the focus now on deep dive highlighting companions and romance. There's also Persepolis, choices and consequences, roleplaying mechanics, and Time Dilation. All of these roll out in the months before launch.

That said, learn more about the recently released gameplay clip here.

EXODUS follows Jun, some who comes from humble beginnings but actually carries the legacy of a revered Traveler dynasty. Hiding under his unassuming origins lies a genetic heritage that gives extraordinary powers and abilities unlike any other human.

Players get to shape Jun’s destiny through moral choices and conflicting agendas that echo across generations. They determine who Jun ultimately becomes through their actions and choices, as the fate of their home planet, and beyond, lies in the balance.

EXODUS offers players freedom when it comes to gameplay style. This allows them to approach challenges through stealth or open combat. Both paths are designed to be equally rewarding and thus empower players to customize their experience. As the story unfolds, players can unlock new weapons and abilities, form bonds with companions, and discover combat synergies that deepen both the gameplay and the storytelling.

For the PC, wishlist EXODUS on Steam now.
