Studio Reveals Two of the Weapons in The Book of Aaru

Developer Amenti Studio announced that two powerful artifacts are now available for players to wield in The Book of Aaru. The new weapons hope to offer a deeper and more complex combat experience.

One of these artifacts is the Alchemy Bomb. It's a devastating weapon which can obliterate enemies in large numbers. There are two ways to deploy it. The first is to throw it over obstacles and surprise those unsuspecting enemies. Then there's also detonating it manually with other attacks to allow for maximum impact.

Players can also look forward to Sia's Lantern. This artifact is a beacon of both light and destruction. What players need to do is mark enemies for death using this sinister tool. As the marks wait for the signal, it's when the chilling countdown begins. When the time is right, the lantern's deadly power is then released, and the marks explode.

The Book of Aaru offers element of ancient Egyptian mythology and mixes it advanced futuristic technology. It takes players on an exhilarating journey that’s chock-full of surprises hidden around every corner. Veiled within an overlay of a richly designed Egyptian setting, it offers an intense yet rewarding gamified experience.

In the game, players take on the role of Emily Sands, an audacious explorer who mysteriously disappeared while on a quest for the temple of Osiris back in 1926. Now in the clutches of a curse and devoid of her humanity, she now has to face a labyrinth of skill-demanding challenges, with each one uniquely crafted to push her to thew limits.

One feature of the game is the combat system which puts focus on action. To ensure the victory, players need to have precision, timing, and adaptiveness. They can also release spectacular combos along with devastating finishes by mastering the art of wielding two weapons simultaneously. The game also has a time-altering mechanic which transforms time-slowing into a tool for mass destruction and invulnerability. Another interesting feature is the glyph upgrade system where players get to increase the abilities of their characters while also unlocking distinct perks.
