Studio Signs Grammy Nominated Producer for XXX NIGHTSHIFT

Dark Math Games announced that they've signed on acclaimed songwriter and music producer John Cunningham. He's being tasked to lead the music and sound creation for their upcoming title XXX NIGHTSHIFT.

Cunningham has collaborated with various artists that include, among others, Miley Cyrus and the late XXXTentacion. He'll be working with the development team to transform how music is being represented in video games. In particular, it's how music is woven into the gameplay and how it's as essential as art, writing and game design. Throughout his career, Cunningham has managed to revolutionize the contemporary music landscape while at the same time having an impressive track record and passion when it comes to artistic growth. This is, in part, why he continues to earn acclaim not only from industry professionals around the world but more importantly, the fans.

In a statement, Cunningham shared that he's both "super curious and excited" to be part of the game. It's a world that has evolved so much and he adds that their understanding of the music and personalization has also evolved with it.

Meanwhile, Dark Math Games Founder and Art Director Timo Albert revealed that for them the game is considered as an "ambitious project." He added that Cunningham's innovative approach is able to match their energy perfectly and they're excited to sign him on as a hands-on collaborator with the development team.

Pre-Order Now Available

The studio also announced that pre-order for XXX NIGHTSHIFT is now available through the Xsolla from the game website. Those who pre-order the game get to receive an exclusive 34-page digital comic, which offers a deeper look into the world of the game through stunning artwork.

The game is set in 2086 with players taking on the role of a Patrol Op named Dinorah Katz who is currently stranded at a luxury Ski resort in Antarctica. This original science-fiction puts players in a resort that shouldn’t exist with people that they shouldn’t know with the endless polar night covering a multitude of sins. The game offers a deep single-player role-playing experience and offers a lot of tools and layers of gameplay.
