Surviving Skeleton Island Now in Steam Early Access

Surviving Skeleton Island is finally out and now available in Early Access on Steam. It's currently being offered at 40% off until March 28.

The game puts players on a mysterious island. One that's filled with crucial resources, dangers, and of course, hidden treasures. Here they have to explore, gather, and hunt. Players also have to craft powerful tools, weapons, and armor. Along the way they get to discover the secrets the island is hiding and the truth behind their amnesia.

Ghostly Characters and Pets

In the island, there are ghostly characters that provide players not only with quests but also rare items. There's also the chance to trade with those enigmatic ghost maidens in exchange for epic gear. Meanwhile, they can also tame pets which can then sniff out those hidden treasures or even use them as mounts to allow for faster travels.

The Key to Surviving

To survive, it's important to both build and then defend the base. This is because when night arrives, it brings with it new threats and even bigger challenges. There's also opportunities since players can expand their skills to allow them to interact with the undead and solve their quests to uncover lost memories and learn more about the deeper mysteries of the island.

The Full Version

While there's no word yet on when the full version of Surviving Skeleton Island comes, developer Bert Games did say in a statement that it's going to feature expanded content that's going to be shaped mainly by the community feedback during Early Access. These include having a larger world, fighting more enemies, meeting new NPCs, and taking on those additional quests. There's also the usual improvements to allow for better overall experience.
