Sword of Convallaria Introduces New Character Type in NIght Crimson Update

A new update for Sword of Convallaria is now available for everyone to enjoy. In "Night Crimson," there are new events along with new ways to play. One of the highlights is the introduction of a new character type.

This new character type comes in the form of what's known as SP characters. These are actually alternate forms of the current characters in the game and come from different periods in time. They join the roster with new appearances along with unique combat skills. For this new update, the first SP character is SP Rawiyah, who arrives in the game on January 3. Then on January 17 it's going to be Taair. These two characters are able to fight alongside each other in the same battle. Players who have the original and SP versions of a character can unlock an exclusive SP skill, which can increase the combat power of each version.

New Campaign

Players can also look forward to experiencing the latest chapter of the Spiral of Destinies campaign. This new update introduces them to a whole new side of Waverun City’s storyline in the form of investigative clue wall gameplay. This means that they'll be able to try out investigation and detective elements to story battles. Players are going to be tasked with solving mysteries having tactical elements under the guidance of Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad’s strategic leader.

Waverun Tournament

There are a lot of events available for players to join and one of these is the Waverun Tournament. It starts January 3 and allows players to use event points and exchange them for exclusive items and even avatar frames. These rewards are going to be important when it comes to strengthening the characters for the battles ahead.

Other News

Other new content players can enjoy include the new theme song titled as "Never Apart." The new update offers a sneak peak at the Japanese version sung by Hikasa Yoko. There's also a video message from none other than the Japanese VA for Safiyyah.

Sword of Convallaria is a fantasy Tactical RPG that brings back the beloved Japanese turn-based & pixel art genre.
