The Awakened King DLC for Remnant II Coming Out November 14

The first ever premium DLC for Remnant II is launching on November 14. Titled as "The Awakened King," it's going to be available for the PC and next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S.

For this upcoming DLC, it appears that The One True King has awakened and is now out for blood. Having been corrupted by the Root during his near-death slumber, this mad king now sees betrayal at every turn and is on a journey of revenge. Ever since his castle arrived in a Dran coastal town, the tides have been angry and the weather chaotic. In addition, all manner of creatures from the depths have surfaced.

Once the new DLC is released, players are treated to a new storyline. In this one, survivors need to explore the new and mysterious area that's within the world of Losomn to learn more about the secrets of The One True King. This strange new location has players roam new dungeons and obtain powerful equipment. They also get to meet unexpected allies and fight against new threats. All of these to reach The One True King and defeat him for good.

Players can also look forward to the new Archetype which is the Ritualist. This new Archetype is a master of pain and suffering and leverages status effects against enemies. More details of this new Archetype are set to be revealed closer to the launch date of the DLC.

Players can get The Awakened King DLC as a standalone purchase. It's also part of the DLC Bundle which comes with two other packs that are scheduled to be released next year. This new DLC is available free for those who bought the Ultimate Edition.

Remnant II was released in July 2023 and sees the last remnants of humanity fight against the harrowing forces of evil. This co-op survival shooter features new unseen worlds that's filled with deadly surprises and encounters. Players get to join the battle in a dynamically generated world which is filled with branching quest lines, unique loot, and overwhelming odds that encourage exploration and replayability. The game has players can define their own playstyle through an expanded Archetype class system along with a wide range of guns, armor, and special augmentations.
