The Battle in SamVSTom Begins January 9

When we see the word "VS" in a game title, the first thing that comes to mind is that it's a fighting game. However developer K-topia is offering something different with its upcoming title. SamVSTom is being labeled as an action RPG. The game is coming out on Steam this January 9, 2025. In addition, it's going to be offered at a 10% discount until January 15, 2025.

The game follows the story of Sam and Tom. These two have been childhood friends since they were in elementary school. They also went to the same junior high school and even senior high school. It goes without saying that the two recognized each other as best friends.

However, in the summer of his second year of college, Tom made the decision to drop mainly due to family circumstances. As a result he had to work. Tom had to work. From then on, Tom and Sam gradually passed each other.

What happened to Sam? He managed to graduate from university and was even able to start his very own business. Sam later made a fortune through a social media app. There's no question he has been living a smooth life. One he realizes that while he did create an app which allowed anyone to connect with another, he still has to meet the person that he really wanted to meet. Because of this, he decides to visit Tom on his birthday.

What Sam doesn't know is that Tom is no longer the Tom he knew back then.

Third-Person Battle

The game offers an action battle game that's viewed from a third-person perspective. Tom comes with different attack patterns that appear in each stage and stands in the way of Sam. Sam on the other hand needs to observe the movements of Tom carefully and try to find an opening to attack.

By the way, the game lets players check the current time playing the game. That means they can play over and over and try to beat Tom the fastest to set a personal record.
