A new DLC is in the works for Cast n Chill. Once the Eastern Winds blow its way to the game in July 2026, players can look forward to a breath of fresh air to their fishing adventures.

This upcoming DLC has players explore a string of tranquil fishing spots that's inspired by storied lands where cherry blossoms drift on the breeze, bamboo groves rustle by quiet shores, and ancient shrines overlook misty coves teeming with mysterious fish never seen before. This means that when they're casting from a lily-covered riverbank or drifting across foggy mountain lakes, players can look forward to having something rare on the line.

There's a lot of new content to be excited about with this upcoming DLC. Players can check out eight new handcrafted waterscapes that's filled with vibrant flora, unique ambient sounds, and fishing holes that's sure to test their line and even their patience. There's also going to be exotic new fish available. With this, players can fill their logbook with a couple dozen new species. While some are real lookers, be careful since others are downright slippery tricksters.

Players need not worry about all these new things since there's also new gear set to be released. There's a lot of new spread of equipment to collect, customize, and show off at the local dock, from lacquered rods to handcrafted lures. Of course, there are also new companions set to make their presence felt and each one brings with them their own tail wagging charm.
