A new update for The First Descendant is dropping tomorrow. Players who like Serena are sure to love the fact that she'll be getting not one but two new Transcendent Modules.
Battlefield Nun
The first one is called the "Battlefield Nun" and sees her wielding vicious airborne gunfire. This particular Transcendent Module can be used along with Skill 2. It results in Serena landing Weak Point Hits to stack the "Consecration" effect for up to 10 tiers. This leads to even more damage on a single target.
Archangel
The second is Archangel, which is another airborne-based Transcendent Module. What it does is allow players to increase their Skill Power while in the air. Skill 1 for example results in Serena blasting up to 10 projectiles. Meanwhile, Skill 3 becomes an airborne bombardment skill. Finally, Skill 4 consumes stacks of 'Holy Passion' to drop a powerful projectile attack.
Blair Balance Update
Serena though isn't the only one getting a benefit from the update. Blair is also getting a balance update. In particular, his base skills are being improved to allow for increased damage along with faster cast times and even more direct control to cancel skills. The changes also give him the ability to use skills while firing a weapon.
Blair also has his Transcendent module reworked. The 'Incendiary Bomb' module for instance is being renamed as 'Flame-Grilled Special' and brings with it fiery new skill changes along with usability improvements to 'Backdraft,' 'Classic Chef,' 'Killer Recipe,' 'Next-level Recipe,' and other modules.
